Hi, I’m Coach Reese
I’m a coach and educator with over 20 years of experience helping athletes and students grow in sports, academics, and life. My background in education, athletics, and leadership allows me to connect with individuals of all skill levels, personalities, and learning styles.
As an inclusion classroom teacher at a creative arts magnet school, I worked closely with a wide range of learners, including students with ADHD, autism, and other diverse learning needs. Through structured support, individualized instruction, and relationship-building, many of my students achieved academic growth above the 90th percentile. I also helped guide students through creative projects including music production, dance choreography, costume design, and live performances.
After the classroom, I managed multiple math learning centers where I helped students significantly improve both their performance and confidence, leading to consistently strong results and high parent satisfaction.
As a coach, I’ve worked with athletes of all ages and experience levels—including many who had never played sports before—helping them develop fundamentals, confidence, discipline, and a genuine love for the game.
My philosophy is simple: meet people where they are, build trust, and help them grow into their potential.
My Approach
My approach to coaching and teaching was shaped early by my parents. My mom, a math teacher, taught me the value of patience, adaptability, and finding different ways to help each person learn and succeed. My dad, a coach, taught me the importance of meeting people at their level—understanding where they are, building trust, and helping them improve step by step.
Because of that, I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Every student and athlete is different. Some need structure and repetition, while others need encouragement, creativity, or simply someone who believes in them. My goal is to create an environment where people feel comfortable, motivated, and confident enough to grow.
Whether I’m working with a beginner athlete, a struggling student, or someone who learns differently, I focus on building confidence first. Skills improve faster when people feel supported, understood, and challenged in the right way.
